I recently went up to the Finger lakes in upstate New York for the February long weekend. Since this was the winter our activities were restricted to indoor activities, however I hear it’s a beautiful place to go to in the summer as well.

Accommodation
We stayed at the Mirbeau Skaneateles which is a lovely boutique spa and hotel. While staying here is definitely expensive, I would recommend visiting the hot tub and the spa for a day visit even if you aren’t staying here.
