San Luis Obispo & Paso Robles: An itinerary

I recently published my Napa itinerary but as a Bay Area resident it would be wrong of me to not publish an itinerary for San Luis Obispo & Paso Robles the other California wine region!

*Note: Things I researched but didn’t end up doing are denoted with a `` (asterisk)**

Accommodation

• Paso Robles
  • I stayed at the Courtyard Paso Robles which was above average but VERY expensive!
• San Luis Obispo
  • Madonna Inn - an old timey inn with a waterfall nearby! Try the Pink Champagne Cake when you are there!

Activities

• Paso Robles
  • Sensorio* - a night time display of light up flowers and other light displays! Get tickets in advance or make sure to arrive at 7:30pm that evening to pur­chase Gen­er­al Admis­sion tick­ets onsite.
• San Luis Obispo
  • Visit the Bubble Gum Alley

Food and Drinks

• Paso Robles
  • Eberle Winery - has delicious wine including a delicious dessert Muscato that is a treasured part of my collection!

  • Catch Seafood*
  • Anti recommendation: Hatch Rotisserie
• San Luis Obispo
  • Brunch at Novo Restaurant - get a table outside by the creek!
  • High Street Deli*
