Books I read in June 2024
Because of all the work travel in June, 2024 I sadly only read 2 books in June 2024. This is also because I have already run out of my quota of fiction books to read! So it’s all non fiction all the way! Here goes a slow reading period now.
Burn Book by Kara Swisher
I enjoy Kara Swisher’s podcast with Scott Galloway and her foresight in the space of tech. This book was a great extension of her podcast and articles. It’s a great recap of her time covering tech companies from their infancy to growth!
Not in Love by Ali Hazelwood
I literally conned the good people of Waterstones into giving me this book ONE WHOLE DAY EARLY! It’s sadly my least favourite Ali Hazelwood book! :( It’s not enough STEM and too much angst for me. But it’s definitely the most complex, real book she has written. The halts in communication definitely feel the most realistic and bring romance into the real world. I would definitely read it, but it’s not one I would queue to reread.
