2024 lists: No buy list

With 2024 coming up and the fact that I have traveled and purchased a lot of material goods in 2023, I want 2024 to be a year of financial discipline. Hence, here is one of my many lists: my no buy list! I am also curating a things that I want to buy list which I won’t share publicly which will be an exception to the rule below.   • Exceptions:

    • Harrod’s chilli jam and Maltesers

    • Nimco if it finishes

• Serveware with the exception of Tongs and Serving Forks

• Books

• Art work with the exception of a print evocative of Karachi

• Candles

• Kitchenware (Glasses, Mugs, Plates, Cutlery)

• Home decor including furniture to be funded by selling other things

Personal

• Clothes:

  • T shirts

  • Trousers

• Shoes:

  • Heels with the exception of Kitten heels

  • Sneakers

  • Flat shoes

• Accessories:

  • Sunglasses with the exception of rectangular sunglasses to replace ones I lost

  • Bags

  • Tote bags

• Perfumes

• Skincare with the exception of any refills

• Toiletries (Shower gel, Hand wash, Body Lotions, Shampoo)
