My Apple watch review

I couldn’t tell you when I got my Apple watch but I have been wearing it *roughly* regularly since February 2023, so here is my review!

My timeline with the Apple Watch

I got my Apple Watch some time around November 2022 and while I started off wearing it regularly the movelty soon wore off and it was gathering dust. I rediscovered it when moving and started wearing it again around February/March 2023. It’s a med bag for me.

Pros

  • Less notification fatigue since I can get notifications on my phone.

  • Ability to find my phone quickly. This is what I use it for most!

  • Being able to use my watch for small tasks, like paying money or changing the track.

Cons

  • The notification fatigue is counteracted by less restraint to stay awy from notifications since you are always carrying them around with you.

  • The battery life - it can make it to the end, so you can’t wear it to track sleep and charge it simultaneously. Some people charge it at work but then I am worried about missing out on data.

  • You have to start each workout otherwise you miss out on data.

  • You can’t view steps on the Apple watch.

  • I am confused about the difference between the Health and Fitness apps.

  • No Tesla app on the watch - this seems like a large gap.
