Of course, all my content is now going to be running related. Lol. But as a on overpacker, I also bring this energy to my running. So here is an overpacker’s guide to running!
Things included:
Race bib! DUH
Race day clothes + shoes
Phone
Hydration vest
Air pods - cause no one needs to be alone with their thoughts (do I need two pairs for the half marathon?)
Room key or house key - otherwise how are you getting back?
Credit card + ID (for the beer you deserve later) + commuter card
Sunscreen + lip balm - I am not leaving the race sun burnt! Nope!
Portable battery for my phone - I intend to take loads of pictures and videos at the start of the race, through the race and at the end of the race. :P
A GU energy stroopwaffel - don’t rely on the race team to provide you with snacks when you need it.
